Skywatch Friday

Skies over Central Texas have looked like this for 5 days and have produce all of 1/2 inch of rain. I enjoy the overcast and mist though because I know that soon there will be nothing but sun, sun, and more sun. We were in a drought for close to 18-19 months until September of 2009 so you can understand why I am enjoying these misty days; however, there is work to be done in the big garden which is on the wait list until the weather clears.

For more skies from around the world, go here.

Until next time, God bless.

Those skies are more common than not here in the Pacific Northwest, and I love them too. In Colorado it was all sun most of the time, here we've got interesting weather!

Nice photo Lynn, you're saying that you're in drought for over a year and here we are under drought for the past two months and everyone is already complaining. I understand if you really enjoyed the mist...because I do too, it gives such relief!

Those are some pretty heavy looking clouds. I'm surprised they haven't produced more rain for you guys! Here we have sunny, blue skies! Enjoy.

Nice photo. The sky over there looks like ours in Sweden in this time of the year.
