Straight Out of the Camera Sunday

I am afraid that I've gotten carried away with photos for Straight Out of the Camera Sunday, a meme at Murrieta 365. SOOC is for those photos you have taken that are so perfect no tweaking is needed. There is no theme for SOOC Sunday. I took several photos this week that required no tweaking except to jpg optimize for a quicker download.

This one was an accident but love the delicate blue sky with fluffy, white clouds.

A visiting Los Angelian taking a walk in the Onion Creek Farm corn field. Onion Creek opens a farm stand every Friday. Marianne at the farm ran out of jalapeno peppers that a customer wanted. She grabbed her straw hat, her gloves, a basket, and walked out to pick the peppers for her customer. It was neat.

Fried green tomatoes, anyone? Rows and rows of tomatoes at Onion Creek Farm filled with green tomatoes that should be ripe by next week. I can hardly wait. Around this house, a really good dinner consists of sliced, fresh-off-the-vine tomatoes, onions, and corn on the cob. Yum.

This flower looked a little strange in the veggie field. I did not realize it when I took the photo, but I think it is among a row of basil.
Pico and friend after yesterday's round-up and transfer to the neighbor's pasture.

Pop over to Murrieta 365 for more photos.

Until next time, God bless.

Pico is becoming a blog hog. He is finding a way to get his handsome self into everyone of your posts.

It is too bad that big puffy cloud doesn't give you some rain for those veggie plants down there. And yes I will take some of those fried green tomatoes. Yum.

I don't think you went overboard, I love them all. The cloud is wonderful, you know how much I love clouds.

All the shots are great and I can't wait until our tomatoes are ready to eat. They just can't get any better then home grown.

Rae, it does look like Pico is the star for the week. We've been doing more with the cattle since it is so hot and dry.

SQ, it was a surprise to see the sky photo after downloading. I did not take deliberately. Maybe a camera gremlin snapped it when I wasn't looking. :D

Julie, you are so lucky your tomatoes are producing. I'm not having much luck with my five bushes. But as you can see, I have a really good source near by. Tomato and cheese sandwiches are are a favorite of ours too.

Hi Lynn,
Dropped by after catching a post about Fredericksburg. Have a friend who has a barn there during Trade Days. She says I need to come see it and trade days!
Take care~
