Straight Out of the Camera Sunday

Murrieta 365 has a fun meme called Straight Out of the Camera Sunday. There are just times when the photo you've taken requires no tweaking or enhancement. The only other requirement is the photo has to be taken by you. :D Click over to her site for her SOOC for this week and then click over to the others that have joined in.

Here are mine for this week:

A friend and I went for lunch and shopping at one of our newest malls in Austin. The kids are really playing on the stage of the amphitheater which, obviously, is in front of a library. It was so hot I wanted to run down to join the kids.

Check out these misting machines surrounding an outdoor restaurant. Whew! When it is as hot and humid as it was today, getting misted is the next best thing to joining the kids in the above photo.

Say hello to Tater, my friend's, who also is my neighbor across the road, newest addition to their "family." Isn't he totally precious?! I had to keep a close eye on him because he tried to nip me a couple of time -- I guess that is friendly talk for miniature donkeys. He is standing next to Gussie, a full-sized donkey. You'll be seeing them again in another post.

Until next time, God bless.

I have never seen a misting machine outside a restaurant like this! A mosquito repellant device and a heater flame for outside ~yes ~ but not this! Incredible! And Tater looks such a cutie!

Very nice pictures. I'm not so good at "fixing" pictures, so most of mine end up being pretty much straight out of the camera. One of these days I need to leave how to "fix" my pictures.

Someone asked my neighbor to keep Tater for as long as they want. Tater loves people and came running to the fence much like a dog does when a visitor arrives.

Grayscale, I've never seen misting like those in the photo either. The only other time I've seen a misting is at a small, food establishment at a Trade Days event. Several misting machines were placed around the covered food area. You had to sit very near or in front of it. I thought it was pretty ingenious by this restaurant.

Tater is adorable, so cute.
That misting machine is great wish there were some of those in places here for our triple digit summers.

What a lovely story about Gussie. I just love it. They had misting machines at The Miramonte Hotel in Palm Springs, Ca and they were so nice.

Daisy, yeah, the Gussie, f/k/a Gus, story is great. We all had a big laugh. What is so bizarre is that you would think the breeder would know the difference. lol
