Skywatch Friday

Which sky?

Backyard?

Front yard, southwest?

Front yard, northwest?

Ta dah, snow.

So far, that is it. Maybe more snow will fall later. Before it started "snowing" here in Central Texas, got a call from my son telling me it was snowing in Houston as well as Bryan-College Station.

To see skies around the world, go to Skywatch, Friday or click on the logo at the top of the page.

Until next time, God bless.

You have multiple choices for which look you want to see. Grey skies, blue skies, or snow and you don't even have to drive somewhere to get it. We are just having snow flurries today for the first time this season. You have had more snow that us!!

We were supposed to have flurries last night... I counted two! Maybe this weekend, but it's not looking that way. I love snow!

So far, no snow here, except in the elevation, but down here at sea level, none so far. But Lynn, I'm originally for Colorado. You call that SNOW? I think you actually just dusted a little sugar on the leaves. :-)

I knew you in and around snow country would get a kick of our my paltry showing of snow flakes. The sun is shining now in all directions.

The weathermen have been predicting snow for days. . . of course, we were all saying "We'll believe it when we see it." Some people actually closed in preparation.

Hey, we don't know how to drive when the streets are icy or covered in snow. You don't want to get on the road in Texas when we've got ice or snow.

Okay I think I'll just have to stare at those snow pictures, we don't get them here!

What? It snowed in Texas? I'll have to call my family. I grew up in Silsbee and my Papa and Granny lived in College Station for awhile. I still have family scattered all over down there. It snowed there when I was in the third grade and I'll never forget it....they let us out of school that day. Anyway, sorry for rambling on, but thanks for making me think of home.

Those are nice shots of your sky and I like them all!

Your son was right. We got really dumped on in Pearland... and it had mostly all melted by noon. LOL! Your sky reminds me of what my dad always said: If you don't like the weather in Texas, wait a minute. Obviously that is VERY true in your yard! LOVE IT! LOL!

Hi! Nice to meet you, Ms. Hill Country. Hope to see you around.

Damama's at it Again!

Yep... real, actual snow fall in Houston yesterday. Big, fat snowflakes and lots of them. They stuck around for a little bit then melted away....... Thought I was in Colorado for a moment (only a moment)!

Snow? Oh you mean those little flakes! Just kidding, down your way a big snow would bring every thing to a halt. A little snow is good and very pretty.

I love all the skies, you really are in big sky country.

Sorry I'm running behind on visiting. I've had an ear infection and it's been a real pain.

We haven't had snow yet. Thank God. We've only had rain.
