I had no problem with the squash/zucchini last year at all. Really did nothing besides the occasional fertilizing and a little insecticide. Something really happened this year!! I never even got a zucchini - lots of blooms but no fruit. I did not know what to call it, but you described it perfectly.<br />I've been spraying like crazy with an insecticidal soap because I have aphids and thought that was the problem. I've gotten 5 yellow squash off one of the two plants and now everything is looking weird.
